This page explains how garangmalek.com handles enquiries and visits.

When you send a message

The form stores your name, email address, organisation if supplied, enquiry type, message and submission date in the website's private administration area. The team managing Garang's website uses these details to review and respond to your enquiry. Please send only the information needed for that conversation.

If email notifications are configured, the enquiry is also sent to the team's notification inbox. Website administrators can see whether that notification was accepted by the email service and can retry a failed notification.

Access and retention

Access to stored enquiries is limited to authorised administrators with contact-message permissions. Enquiries remain in the site's records until the team deletes them; this form does not automatically erase a message when it is marked handled. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected].

Site services

Cloudflare provides website delivery and traffic analytics. The hosting and delivery services may process request information to operate and secure the site. The contact form uses a security cookie; administrator sign-in uses a session cookie.

Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Playing an embedded video connects to YouTube. Links to social networks and the Substack newsletter open services with their own privacy practices. The website does not add contact-form details to a newsletter.
